Jane Pattinson - Chief Executive

Jane joined Watford Mencap in 2005 from Harrow Mencap and she has overall responsibility for the organisation.

Dan Remedios - Finance, HR and Internal Services Manager

An accountant with over 25 years of experience in charities, public sector and commercial sector finances, Dan joined Watford Mencap at the start of 2015 and has overall responsibility for the administrative functions which support the work of the charity.

Ruth Murray – Learning and Leisure Manager

Ruth joined Watford Mencap in May 2001 after qualifying as Learning Disability nurse in 1998. She manages the Advice & Information Service, Care & Support Agency, Children and Young People Service and Adult Learning and Leisure. She also supports the 2 co-opted Members at the Council of Management meetings.

Simon Evans - Operations Manager

Simon joined Watford Mencap in 2013. He oversees all of the “The Right Support services”  and ensures all of our care services  follow the standards of the Care Quality Commission. Simon has been supporting people with a learning disability for over 20 years and has worked for local and national charities in a similar role in the past.

 

Naomi Sword – HR Manager

Naomi joined Watford Mencap in 2017, with over 16 years’ experience of HR in the not for profit and charity sectors. She manages the human resources of Watford Mencap which includes the 120 staff and nearly 100 volunteers.
