Watford Mencap's Mission Statement:
We will enable people with learning disabilities and their families to make the most of life.
We will do this through:
- person centered support, a range of services that focus on the individual and their family.
- campaigning to ensure that the rights of people with a learning disability and their families are respected and they have access to the services they need.
Our Vision:
- is that we will apply the principles of person centred planning to our service design and development, to ensure that our services are tailored to meet the needs of individuals and support them to lead the kind of life they want for themselves. We will describe and promote this vision as Person Centred Support.
