Mencap Advice & Advocacy Service
People with Learning Disabilities
The service can help with many things, giving you information as
well as helping you to decide what you would like to do. A few
examples of how we can help are
:
- Applying for benefits,
- Choosing where you want to live
- Money problems
- Filling in forms
The advisers can also go to meetings with you to help you say what you want as well as speaking to people on your behalf. Additionally we can act as your advocate at times of difficulty either by attending meetings with you or talking to the relevant people on your behalf.
Please contact Ruth or Julie for more information or call them on 01923 713632.
