Introduction to Children's Services
The Children's Centre provides specially designed, welcoming and spacious facilities - two playrooms, a soft-play area, sensory room and garden - for families and their children living in Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere areas.
The service is unique. It is the only facility of its kind in the area that welcomes all children however severe their disabilities, providing respite for parents, carers and siblings.
It is a safe, fun, sympathetic environment and is provided for children who have learning or physical disabilities and special needs including Autism, Down's syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and others.
The centre is staffed by qualified care assistants and nursery nurses all of whom are checked through the Criminal Records Bureau.
