Trustees
Our trustees play an important part in the organisation. We are always looking for people who might be interested in joining us, in particular professionals in the fields of learning disabilities, human resources and law. If you would like to talk to someone about becoming a trustee please call us on 01923 713620 or email reception@watfordmencap.org.uk
Don Eungblut - Chair
I joined Watford Mencap as a trustee in 2002 and have been Chair since 2004. I have always been interested in the voluntary sector and am particularly pleased to be involved with an organisation which carries out such a wide range of vital activities for people with a learning disability and their families.
Pauline Joy - Treasurer and Vice-Chair
I became a trustee of Watford Mencap in 2000 and have been involved ever since, mostly as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee.
Russ Teague
As a carer I have over 30 years' experience of the needs of people with learning disabilities and their families. I also have some experience of supporting elderly people, and people with visual impairment.
Pam Robertson
Our son, Ben, used the After School club from its outset, progressed to the Big Kids club and now greatly enjoys the College Holiday Scheme and Leisure Together. We have all valued the services provided by Watford Mencap and I became involved as a way of giving back, in some small way, to an organisation which has supported us as a family for many years.
Albert Perahia
I joined Watford Mencap as Accounts and IT Manager, a part-time position which I held for 6 happy years before retiring fully in January 2005. I then became a trustee in 2006.
