Salary: Circa £24,000 per annum plus benefits
Hours: 37.50 per week (to include evenings and weekends)

Watford Mencap is one of the largest Mencap societies in the UK with a long-established history of providing high quality social care services to people with learning disabilities and their families in South West Herts. We are a registered charity No 1004431 with a trustee body, the Council of Management. Whilst we are affiliated to national Mencap we are independent and self-funding.
This is an exciting and challenging time to be joining the organisation; over the past 5 years the organisation has increased its annual turnover by £1 million to £2.6 million and we currently employ 120 staff, have over 140 volunteers and provide support to over 500 local people with learning disabilities and their families. We are striving to deliver personalised services and support whilst working within a changing social care environment with reduced statutory funding.
We have accreditation to Investors in People and provide employees with access to a full range of professional and personal development opportunities. This includes induction and in-house training programmes, NVQ, regular supervision/appraisal as well as coaching and mentoring.
