We are always looking at new ways to work in partnership with companies and organisations.
Watford Round Table fundraised for our first premises, Table Hall on Pinner Road, and now organise the Watford 10k run.
Camelot UK Lotteries Limited is Gold Sponsor of the 2011 Watford 10k. Tom Cridland, Chief Treasury Analyst at Camelot, who ran the race, commented: ‘The atmosphere was really lively – loads of people cheering us all on at the start and especially in the last 2 km when we came back into the park!’
Watford Grammar School for Boys hosts the Hand in Hand Youth Club, and the boys volunteer for it. Sixth former Tim Winward said, 'Volunteering at Watford Mencap is one of the best things we have ever done.'
VocaLink, the international payments provider with offices in Rickmansworth, has signed a two-year partnership agreement to work with Watford Mencap. We are talking with them about volunteering, fundraising and other ways to work together.
