Volunteering
There are many different ways you can volunteer and support Watford Mencap and we are sure you will make new friends and learn new skills. Some volunteering opportunities are regular activities, but if you feel you can't commit to something regularly, we are always looking for volunteers to help at one-off events. We will pay for reasonable travel expenses - why not give it a go?
Ebay and Online Sales Volunteer
Watford Mencap sells donated goods online to raise much needed funds for the charity. Trade is booming and volunteer support is much needed.
Tasks include packing items that have been sold, taking photos of items to be listed and listing goods on our online trading sites.
Do you have an interest in fashion and collectables?
Are you computer literate, accurate and organised?
Can you spend a couple of hours in order to help Watford Mencap raise money?

Bushey Shop
We have vacancies for volunteers in our Bushey Shop on Tuesdays and Wednesday morning [shop hours 9.30-4.30]. Tasks include sorting donated goods, marking goods for sale, assisting customers. Volunteers must have good customer service skills and be willing to assist whereever help is needed in the shop. Please contact Sonia on 01923 210623 for further details.
