Administrator part time – community services

Are you a self-motivated and organised Administrator looking for a part time role?

15 hours per week, £6,286.80 per annum (equivalent to £8.06 per hour)

You will support the delivery and organisation of 1:1 support services to children and adults with learning disabilities in the local community. You will help to plan and prepare the rota, ensuring resources are maximised and costs are minimised. You will deal with cancellations and new bookings quickly to ensure support is provided. You will build strong relationships with the clients and their families and the workers. You will ensure that day to day activities run smoothly and in line with the standards set.

You will assist the Manager to develop, plan and deliver a client focused service, taking new referrals, writing up support plans and risk assessments and providing support to staff both over the phone as well as in the office. You must have drive and energy, whilst staying calm to maintain high service delivery.

You will be based in our Head Office in Rickmansworth as well as occasionally working out in the field visiting clients. You are a strong team player who can build good working relationships with colleagues, professionals and clients and families. You will be able to switch between administration and provision of direct support as required. This means you have a flexible can do attitude, good IT skills, and an eye for detail. You are emotionally resilient and well organised. You have experience of administration and working in a team and you share our values: Inclusive, Welcoming, Respectful, Progressive and Challenging.

This is a part-time job which can involve lone-working in both the office and the community. The working pattern is predominantly Monday to Friday and may require working occasional evenings and weekends. As the Administrator you will receive support and leadership from the Service Manager, and you will be able to share knowledge and learning with your colleagues.
