HR Administrator - part time

£5,385 per annum (equivalent to £8.63 per hour)

12 hours per week, split across at least 3 days

Watford Mencap is recruiting an HR Administrator who will play an important role supporting our local charity. You will deliver timely and accurate administration across all HR streams including recruitment, induction and probation, payroll and benefits, training and development, sickness absence and annual leave and employee relations. You will be the first point of contact in HR, responding to employees, line managers and recruitment candidates in a timely manner. Supporting the HR Manager in the smooth delivery of a high quality HR service to the c140 employees and recruiting staff to meet demand for our services.

You will have strong admin and organisational skills and be able to build effective working relationships. You will have a welcoming manner and be comfortable managing a varied workload, able to deal positively with interruptions whilst staying on target. Ideally you have an understanding of HR practices with experience of working in an administrative capacity. You will have excellent communication and IT skills.
