Specialist Youth Mentor - Learning Difficulties and Disabilities

Salary - £22,876.36 per annum for a 37-hour week. This contract is a fixed term contract until June 2021

Project - Herts Building Better Opportunities (BBO) – Herts Youth Futures Project

Hertfordshire County Council in partnership with 20 organisations from the voluntary and community sector across Hertfordshire have been successful in securing funding from the Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities Fund (BBO).  BBO is the result of The National Lottery Community Fund matching funds from the European Social Fund for projects across England that tackle poverty and promote social inclusion.

In Hertfordshire our partnership is delivering three projects across the county that help to address barriers into employment. The BBO Project welcomes applications from all members of the community.

Herts Youth Futures Project

Providing individualised tailored support to young people most disadvantaged in the labour market to move towards and into sustained employment, education or training

Postion:

Specialist Youth Mentor with experience of working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities (LDD) for Watford Mencap (37 hrs per week)
