Support Worker - Residential

Full time - Circa £25,300 pa* + benefits

Part time - £11.50 per hour + benefits + sleep-in allowance

You could make a difference by supporting someone with a learning disability to carry out their daily activities like shopping or meeting friends.

£11.50 an hour plus benefits, rising to £12 per hour after sucessful completion of probation and training (equivalent to £26,280 pa)

  • You will work in a small committed team helping a small group of people get on with life, so you can really get to know people well. You will supported by a manager close by.
  • Support people with their daily life, which might include personal care, looking after the home, with planning, decisions and trying new things.
  • You will support people to get out and about, join in with activities and be part of their community.

Being a driver is an advantage as that can help people with limited mobility to be able to get about.

Salary: £11.50 /hour (£22,425 per year), full-time position is 37.5 hours. Rising to £12 ph (£26,280 pa) on successful completion of probation & training. 

We all work shifts, some weekends and bank holidays.

Sleep in duties are paid at around £63 per sleep-in. A full-time salary with a sleep in duty per week is around £25.3k pa

Our locations are Rickmansworth at the top of Berry Lane, Chorleywood, near the high street and station and Bushey.
