Training Cafe Deputy Manager

£9.71 AN HOUR PLUS BENEFITS

23.5 HOURS A WEEK

We are looking for a deputy manager to help support adults with learning disabilities to learn employment skills in our Cafe in Watford Central Library. The Cafe, which opened in November 2017, offers training to individuals to learn all aspects of working in a coffee shop as well as general retail skills. The Cafe is open Monday to Saturday so any rota would be 5 days through this period this period. The Cafe is open 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am - 3.30pm Saturdays.

In conjunction with the Manager you will be involved in all aspects of the café, supporting staff, delivering rotas, training and performance, whilst also co-coordinating the day to day food service.

You will be based in our Café in the Library serving customers as well as supporting trainees; ensuring sessions are planned and invoiced. The job is varied and will involve line management, liaison with professionals, invoicing and client administration as well as delivery of direct support and serving customers. This means a flexible can do attitude, good IT skills, alongside an eye for detail, emotional resilience and being able to juggle a broad and diverse workload are all really important in this role.
