Aldenham School continue to support Watford Mencap

In February, Aldenham School kindly hosted a fun day for some of Watford Mencap’s members. A group of 6 children with a learning disability were greeted by a team of staff and pupils who all volunteered to make the day a special one.

The group of pupils, organised by Reverend Dan Bond, organised a range of activities throughout the day to keep the children entertained including cooking, outdoor games and a visit to the nearby Hare Krishna temple. A highlight included the opportunity for the children to draw a design onto the back of their very own Aldenham School sweatshirt. The school also kindly provided the group with a delicious hot lunch.

Aldenham School have organised numerous fun days for Watford Mencap and hope to continue to make them a regular occurrence.

Watford Mencap would like to thank Aldenham School for their continuing support.
