Continuing the Collection Trend
Watford Mencap hopes to repeat the success of collecting £900 at Homebase. The next collection is on Sunday 9th September at the Bandstand Marathon.
We have obtained a licence to collect for Watford Mencap on Sunday 9th September at the Bandstand in Watford Town Centre and along the High Street to St Mary’s Church. This is part of the Bandstand Marathon which is happening all over the country on the same day. BSV Jazz band, who will be playing at this year’s AGM, will be there, along with other bands playing a variety of music. Please have a look at the leaflet.
We are looking for as many people as possible to help on the day and make the most of this opportunity. The collection will be from 1pm to 5pm and any time that anyone can spare will be greatly appreciated. Watford Mencap needs to raise over £300,000 to continue its high quality services for people with a learning disability and their families.
