Watford 10k Round Up
Despite the rain, Cassiobury Park was filled with over 1500 runners and supporters who participated in Bank Holiday Monday's 10k Fun Run. The event sold out in advance for the first time. The event organised by Watford Mencap and Watford Round Table, consisted of a 1k race for under-10's followed by the main 10k race and a 3k race for under-15's. The money raised will be split equally between the Watford Mencap Children's Centre and Watford Round Table.
Colin Loose and David Burchell, residents at Berrywood, took part in the 3k race with their Support Workers, Chris Tyson and Alex Betts. Andrew Carter, a Support Worker from Thorpedale competed in the 10k race, finishing in an impressive time of 49 minutes and 4 seconds.

Learning Disability Week
Learning Disability Week is taking place from Monday 18th June through until Sunday 24th June. The focus this year will be on tackling Hate Crime and working alongside the Police. Keep checking back for updates on activities and events taking place during Learning Disability Week.
