Female Personal Assistants (PA)
£9.43 per hour + benefits + sleep-in allowance
We support a service in Mill End, Rickmansworth for 4 ladies who have their own budgets(Supported Living). This service involves a range of support including personal care and sleep-ins but also independence skills and support with their health and well-being. One of the ladies has her own car and needs people who can drive this for her.
We are looking to recruit female Personal Assistants who have a strong commitment to promoting the rights of people with a learning disability and who share our values. You will join an innovative service, supporting people with a learning disability in their own homes.
With your support and encouragement, these people will continue to become more independent, building their confidence and having the opportunity and ability to make choices.
These positions will require you to work flexibly and many of our workers are able to agree working patterns that fit the needs of the people they support and their own life. Support is provided 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. Shifts can start at different times of day, and Full-time workers would normally work on 5 days in the week. Sleep in duties (where the personal assistant is paid to stay over in the persons home overnight) is required by every Personal Assistant and would be scheduled on a rota.
