Our Shop Volunteers raise money for the people we support with a Learning Disability. Our retail roles are varied and fun. You could be sorting donations from the public, dressing our window or serving customers on the till. Do you have a few hours a week to spare and enjoy meeting new people, then volunteer at at our Bushey shop. We need you! At our Café in the Library, the team have been busy developing new skills and growing their confidence. From serving customers and making drinks, to stocking shelves and keeping the café tidy and organised, everyone plays an important role in helping the café run smoothly. These everyday tasks help build valuable workplace skills such as teamwork, communication, organisation and independence. It’s fantastic to see people gaining experience, taking pride in their work and supporting each other throughout the day. You Said… We Did! 🐾🦒 Our Hillside group said they would love to visit a zoo and see the animals… so that’s exactly what we did! Everyone had a fantastic day out at @hertfordshirezoo, enjoying the fresh air, spot animals and sharing lots of smiles along the way. Trips like this are all about listening to what the people we support want to do and helping make those experiences happen.
